Our go-to place in town for a quick, hot chinese meal. Whenever we crave for some stir-fry that's delicious and easy on the pocket, we just drop by here and enjoy.
We ordered two clubhouses with fries and gravy. Did clubhouses were perfect and the gravy was very good. Service was very good she knew what she was doing. Very clean and busy for a Sunday. Food was prepared fast and so good.
Good food for a reasonable price. Service is fast and friendly. Massive menu with just about anything you could want on it.
A Prairie Gem: Classic Chinese Cuisine in a Historic Setting This historic Chinese restaurant in the heart of Maple Creek is the quintessential prairie family-run spot, serving up all the North American Chinese favorites in an unpretentious setting. Housed in a 100-year-old building, it retains much of its original charm—though it hasn’t seen many renovations, which has both its pros and cons. The decor is simple, and the bathrooms may present challenges for those with mobility issues, but the real magic lies in the warm service and fantastic food. I had the veggie and shrimp wonton soup, and even the small portion was huge and satisfying—loaded with fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked wontons, and a flavorful broth. And because this is the prairies, you can’t skip the homemade pie for dessert! Excellent service, hearty portions, and plenty of street parking make this a must-visit for those who value great food over fancy decor.
This is a little gem of I ever did find one. The service was awesome, polite, and very helpful. Quick to see if we needed anything and how the kids were doing. They have a good sized menu of both Western and Chinese food. The kids went with chicken fingers and chicken nuggets. Both kids were super happy with them. We went with the large Ginger beef, fried rice, and lemon chicken. We went with this thinking we would have leftovers. Well the giant plates came out, and it was so good we cleaned em up. Yikes, but it was so good. And all that food for like 10 a plate. Absolutely great value for your money. We had an early dinner so there wasn't many customers at the time, but as we were there the nice thing to see were all the locals just walk in and take their preferred table. Ordering up the regular what ever it was. We had a great experience and without a doubt we would return.
This place does not have much curb appeal and the decor is seriously lacking. We came in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed, the food was fast, fresh, and tasted great. The prices were very good and the service was friendly.
A wonderful diner in this beautiful little town. It's split with traditional diner food and Chinese food. I had the break cutlet which was just good.... Very obviously previously frozen.
Prices are reasonable here for some decent grub. They don’t skimp out on veggies!
